PRETENDERS

Ohio born singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Chrissie Hynde formed The Pretenders in London in 1978, with Hereford natives, James Honeyman-Scott on guitar, Pete Farndon on bass, and drummer Martin Chambers.

OCEAN COLOUR SCENE

Falling between the energetic pop/rock of mod revival and the psychedelic experimentations of Traffic, Ocean Colour Scene came to be one of the leading bands of the traditionalist, post-Oasis British rock of the mid-'90s.

eDWYN COLLINS

Best known for his tenure fronting the Scottish pop revivalists Orange Juice as well as his international solo hit "A Girl Like You," singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer Edwyn Collins was born in Edinburgh in 1959. He spent his youth absorbing the pop music of the day and learning how to play guitar.

 

HONEYBLOOD

‘In Plain Sight’ sees Honeyblood’s Stina Tweeddale finally step forward and claim the mantle of her project as her sole vision. Three albums in, the project she birthed seven years ago finds its most steely-focus and ambitious form yet.

ADO MATHESON

​Ado was brought up on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. His father was a Gaelic Singer and Songwriter performing at concerts and gatherings throughout Scotland and his Grandfather was crowned the Celtic Bard in recognition of his writing in the 50’s.

PRIMAL SCREAM

Primal Scream's career has been a series of adventures that have seen the band recording era-defining albums like 1991's Screamadelica, digging deep into the past to excavate classic rock tropes, and playing music that sounds like it was beamed in from the future.

SPIRITUALIZeD

When highly influential English psychedelic rockers Spacemen 3 splintered, singer/guitarist Jason Pierce (also known as J. Spaceman) formed his group Spiritualized, extracting his more melodic and plaintive songwriting from droning minimalism of his former band.

PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING

Public Service Broadcasting have been “teaching the lessons of the past through the music of the future” for more than a decade now. 2013’s debut album Inform - Educate - Entertain used archival samples from the British Film Institute as audio-portals to the Battle Of Britain, the summit of Everest and beyond.

 

THE JOSHUA HOTEL

The Joshua Hotel is the new project of Multi-Instrumentalist, Songwriter and Producer, Joshua Mackenzie. 
 During a year of recording in isolation at his rural home studio deep in the Highlands of Scotland, Joshua drew inspiration from an eclectic mix of electronic artists such as Metronomy, Depeche Mode, Mount Kimbie and MGMT.

IZZIE YARDLEY

Rooted in British songwriting traditions of the 60s/70s coffee house scene, of which John Martyn, Paul Simon and Bert Jansch were a part, Izzie’s songs tell stories woven into musically rich pieces, which nod to a childhood spent listening to classical, Jazz, Nick Drake and Kate Bush.

JOHN FOGERTY

As the singer/songwriter and guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty created a monumental and mythic American music. Drawing equally from rockabilly, country, and blues -- all sounds associated with the South, a region far away from Fogerty's native Northern California -- Fogerty developed a distinctive brand of rock & roll and a formidable songbook.
